Charles Robert Kemplin

Charles Robert Kemplin, 83, of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky was born on September 9, 1941 to Charles and Edith Kemplin and passed away July 6, 2025, at home, in the care of loved ones. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, of 55 years, Mary Ann Kemplin. He is survived by his daughters Terri (Bob) Heis and Lisa (Andrea) Kemplin; son John (Suzanne) Kemplin; grandsons Scott Daniels, John (Shantell) and Bradley Kemplin; brothers Earl (Pat) and Lonnie (Laura) Kemplin; sister Flo (Corby) McGill. Charlie was raised and lived almost his entire life in Ft. Thomas and spent considerable time at his home, away from home, in Bradenton Beach, Florida. He also owned and operated several businesses in the community for nearly 60 years. Among them were Pasquale's, Ft. Thomas Pizza, Your Place Tavern, Tan-A-Rific Tanning Salon and Ft. Thomas Carry Out. Charlie loved to dance, travel, bowl and could watch sports all day, especially Highlands and Kentucky. He also loved being out and about connecting with old friends as well as meeting new ones. He never met a stranger. Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, July 13th at Dobbling Funeral Home, in Ft. Thomas. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, July 14th at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas with interment to follow at Persimmon Grove Cemetery, Alexandria. Memorial contributions may be made to Highlands Athletic Boosters Association, P.O.
