Charles Kring Obituary
Charles was born on December 29, 1932, in Teegarden, IN to the late Francis and Pearl (Lowry) Kring.
After High School Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army and is a Korean War Veteran. He came home to become a welder by profession and owned his own woodworking shop.
On September 18, 1955, in South Bend he married Betty Ewing, sharing 63 years together before her passing in 2019.
Charles is survived by his children; Charles (Debbie) Kring Jr, Cory (Angela) Kring, Michael (Patricia) Kring, and Arlene (Junior) Hensley. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his daughter; Penney Crabtree, and his siblings; Angeline Klingerman, Karen Hamilton, and Leonard Kring.
Visitation for Charles will be held from 10am-12pm on Friday May 30, 2025 at the Palmer Funeral Home inside the Palmer Community Complex, 601 N. Michigan St. Lakeville. A funeral service will begin at 12pm and burial will follow with military honors at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in North Liberty.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charles' name may be made to Traditions Hospice, 3555 Park Pl. #100, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
