Charles Joseph "Frenchie" LaFramboise, Sr., age 78, of Moyock, NC, passed away at Sentara Albemarle Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2025. He was born in Detroit, MI on February 21, 1947, to the late Charles Addison LaFramboise and Peggy Schultz LaFramboise.
A proud veteran, Charles served honorably in the U.S. Navy. Professionally, he devoted many years to building maintenance at Norfolk General Hospital. His greatest joys were fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports; Luca's baseball games, and Hope and Faith's soccer games. Charles was passionate about collecting antiques, having booths at both Coppersmith Antiques and Funked Up Junk Market.
Charles is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa Bagley (Christian) of Suffolk, VA, Chrissie Whitt of Shawboro, NC, and his son, Joe LaFramboise, Jr. (Deana) of Norfolk, VA. He also leaves behind his brother, Phillip Nagel (Fran) of Carson City, NV, and his treasured grandchildren, Noah, Hope, Faith, and Luca Bagley, who were a source of immense pride and joy.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
