Charles Lamberth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boren-Conner Funeral Home - Jacksonville on Nov. 24, 2025.
Charles "Chuck" Linwood Lamberth, 82, of Palestine, Texas, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Chuck was born on July 8, 1943, in Lufkin, Texas, to Carlton Lamberth and Mary Lou Lamberth. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love and steady presence shaped the lives of all who knew him.

A proud patriot, Chuck honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1960 to 1964. His time in the Marines was deeply meaningful to him, and he carried the bonds of that brotherhood throughout his life. After his military service, Chuck built a long and dedicated career with Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, where he worked from 1969 until his retirement in 2000.

In retirement, Chuck poured his time into the people and hobbies he cherished most. He loved being surrounded by family and friends, and he had a remarkable talent for repairing and restoring furniture. His ability to bring broken pieces back to life, often returning them to their original beauty, was nothing short of a gift.

Chuck is preceded in death by his father, Carlton Lamberth; his mother, Mary Lou Lamberth-Spivey; and his sister, Carlene Sapp.

He is survived by his wife, Mickie Lamberth; daughters Carole Jordan and husband John, Rebecca "Becky" Grimes and husband Robert, and Cheryle Durham and husband Michael; grandchildren Tara Green, Jamie Carroll, Adam Jordan, Rodney Grimes, Matthew Durham, and Ashley Durham; brother Carlton Lamberth; sister Pamela Warren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will share details for a celebration of life at a later date. Military honors will be rendered during a private family service to be held in the future.
