Charles "Pete" Lashua, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, September 22, 2025 at his home. Pete was born in Wausau, WI on October 29, 1952 to the late Chet and Ruby (Rassmussen) Lashua. He attended Wausau High School and served in the military from 1972 until 1975. Pete was united in marriage on December 23, 1972 to the late Diane (Durkee) of Schofield, WI.

Pete loved to watch the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers; fishing up north and spending time with his family.

Pete leaves behind his sons: Greg (Kelly) Lashua, Aaron Lashua; two grandsons: Landon and Mason Lashua; sister, Jane (Jim) Kerpesteinm; brother-in-law, Dave (Carol) Durkee; and many other relatives and friends. He joins his beloved wife, Diane Lashua; parents, Chet and Ruby Lashua; and siblings Garry Lashua and Cathy Jo Lashua.

Full military honors will take place at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Valley Funeral Home, N1858 Greenville Drive, Greenville. Visitation will take place on Friday from 4:00 pm until military honors.
