Charles (Danny) Daniel Lewis, 60, of Sherwood left us too soon on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was born on November 12, 1962 in North Little Rock to Charles Lee Lewis and the late Rose Marie (Belado) Lewis.
Danny began working in the grocery business as a teenager at Safeway and continued with Kroger beginning in 1996 until 2023. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Danny was a man of few words known for his dry sense of humor, kindness, generosity and fairness. He loved his family and worked hard his entire life to make sure his family was comfortable. He was always there to lend a hand never turning down the opportunity to help someone in need. Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing and could be found on his time off fishing for crappie on Old River Lake. Danny loved to cook for people and found a lot of joy in hosting large family fish fries.
Danny is survived by two children: Brittany Howell (Clayton) Blake Lewis (Sarah); his partner, Paula Price; father, Charles Lee Lewis; sister Charlene Goodwin (Ronnie); the mother of his children and former wife, LaDonna Broussard; grandchildren, Olivia, Hudson, Eleanor, Brooks and baby boy Lewis; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Charlie.
He is preceded in death by his sister; Darlene Mosley; brother, Donald Lewis; and mother Rose Lewis.
Visitation is 9:00 AM, Monday, July 24 at Immaculate Hall, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

We are so very sorry for your family´s loss. I enjoyed working for Danny at the Searcy Kroger for many years and we remained friends through our hunting and
fishing times. Danny will be missed by so many family and friends. Prayers for all his family as you maneuver this tragic loss.

So sad to hear about his passing, RIP, he always made me feel welcomed whenever I would walk into the store and treated me like I was apart of the Kroger family even though I was just a customer I will keep you and your family/friends in my prayers
