Charles Lex

Charles E. Lex, 85, of Kiel, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center. Charles was born April 11, 1940, to the late Edward and Laura (Kaderabek) Lex. On January 6, 1973, he married the former Marilyn Cook in Sheboygan. He was employed by Kohler Company for more than 40 years.

Charles was a member of Koenig's Conservation for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and shooting trap. He also enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his wife, Marilyn, he is survived by his children, Tammy (Billy) Kreutz, Maureen Lex, Mike Will, William Lex, and Laura Lex-Gilipsky (John Gilipsky); his grandchildren, Blake Kreutz, Amber Tietz, James Lex, Danielle Wolfe, Maxwell Gilipsky, Maria Gilipsky and Mitchell Gilipsky. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Per Charles' wishes, cremation has taken place and a time of gathering will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home (815 6th Street, Kiel) from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Please visit www.meiselwitzfh.com to send online condolences.
