Gary Ninmer

Gary Lee Ninmer, 74, of Kiel passed away after a brief illness on February 20, 2026 with his family by his side. He was born on May 6, 1951 son of the late Orville and Gertrude (Fink) Ninmer. On August 14, 1971 he was united in marriage to Lana Matzdorf. Gary enjoyed his dogs, Max and Willow, gardening and birds. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his family.

Gary is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lana, son; Todd Ninmer, daughter; Tracy (Dennis) Senkbeil, his grandchildren; Michael Ninmer, Heather (Shaun) Freepartner, Amanda Simons, Bo (Paige) Senkbeil, Braeden Senkbeil, great grandchildren; Aiden, Kurtis, Aaron and William with a great granddaughter, Elizabeth, due in March. Further survived by brother; Daniel (Kelly) Ninmer, sister; Linda Jochimsen, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Brenda (Dale) Wagner, Brian (Michele) Matzdorf, Lanette (Tom) Kienbaum, Brad (Pam) Matzdorf, Gwen Ninmer along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; David Ninmer, Michael Ninmer, sister; Donna (Dale) Wollersheim, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Fred and Delores Matzdorf, brother-in-law; Howard Jochimsen.

According to Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.

Gary's family would like to thank Sheboygan Aurora Medical Center and the Aurora Hospice for all their care.
