Charles Albert Luster

Charles Albert Luster (Lovingly known as "Snooks" by family members), age 73 of Nineveh, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 8th, 2025.
He was born on October 17, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to Jane Luster. He is survived by wife, JoAnn (Forster) Luster whom he married on November 17, 2023. Also surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Olson and Tenika Luster; several grandchildren; step-children, Joe, Jon and Jordan Overmyer and Angela Gosling and Jennifer Davidson; brothers, Victor (Nancy) Floyd, Mickey (Sandra) Floyd, and Ken Smith and sister, Shelia (Terry) Myers. Also surviving is niece, Holly (Brad Gilmer) Hartness, great nieces, Sophie and Scarlett, and many other loving family members. He was preceded in passing by his mother; and wife, Debra Luster.
Snooks was an over the road Truck Driver, employed by System Transport in Gary, Indiana. He retired after many years of dedicated service.
He was a music enthusiast and played the harmonica and drums in a band for fourteen years with Ray Bilka and others.
Snooks enjoyed being out in nature and loved riding his Harley Trike, especially his yearly rides with his brother, Mickey.
He had many friends that he considered like brothers and family.
Charlie and JoAnn were adventurers of travel and Charlie also just liked being home with his dog, Bella.
