Spann Funeral Home - DicksonCharles “Marty” Reeves, 68, of Dickson, TN, entered his heavenly home on August 14, 2025. Born on April 27, 1957, Marty lived a life full of joy, faith, and music, leaving a legacy that will be cherished for generations.
Marty shared 47 beautiful years with his devoted wife, his partner in every chapter of life. Together, they raised three children who were his pride and joy. His deep love for his family was evident in everything he did, from the big milestones to the everyday moments that meant the most.
A man of unwavering faith, Marty loved God deeply and served Him through music. As the director of music at his church, he led with passion and heart, inspiring others to lift their voices in praise. Over the years, he sang in various quartets, sharing his gift of song far and wide. Marty also spoke of God to everyone he could, using every opportunity to share his faith and encourage others to find the Lord.
Marty’s energy and work ethic were unmatched—he was always on the go and never one to sit still for long. Whether visiting with friends, meeting new people, or sharing in a laugh, he thrived on connection and made everyone feel welcome. His laughter was infectious, his joy genuine, and his ability to make people feel valued was one of his greatest gifts.
He lived life fully, embracing every opportunity to love, serve, and bring happiness to others. Those who knew him will remember not just his music, but his heart—a heart devoted to God, to his family, and to the joy of living.
Marty’s life was a song of love, faith, and friendship. Though the final verse has been sung here on earth, his melody will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
