Charles A. Millious, 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday. A native and lifelong resident of Syracuse, Charles proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1951. He later retired from General Motors.
Charles was predeceased by his beloved parents, Martha and Charles F. Millious; his brother, James Millious; and his sisters, Joan (Jack) Mattes, Mary (Tom) Muhl, and Theresa Ellis.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Jerry Ellis; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and five great-great-nephews.
Family and friends may call 11am to 12pm Thursday at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd, Syracuse with a funeral service to follow with military honors. Charles will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse, N.Y.
Contributions may be made in Charles' honor to Assumption Church.
