Charles Moody Obituary

Charles Edward Moody

October 8, 1938 - July 24, 2025

Sacramento, California - Charles Edward "Chuck" Moody passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Sacramento, California, at the age of 86. Born on October 8, 1938, in Sacramento, he was the beloved son of Guy and Marie Moody.

Chuck grew up in Sacramento and graduated from Sacramento High School. In 1960, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Paris, France. His time abroad left a lasting impression, and he reflected fondly on his experiences there.

Following his military service, Chuck returned home. Chuck was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He found great joy in spending time with his family and creating lasting memories. His integrity and compassion touched many lives and will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; his daughter, Julie (Aric); grandchildren, Charley and Tommy; and his sister, Linda (Ken) Heidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Marie Moody, and his first wife, Marlene.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at June's Place at Mercy McMahon Terrace for their compassionate care during Chuck's final days.

At Chuck's request, no services will be held.
