Charles Edward Musselwhite, 67 years young passed away on July 13, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on October 4, 1956. Charles was born to his parents, Rowland E. Musselwhite and Barbara J. (Locklear) Daw.
It was simple; to know Charles was to love him. Although he was a simple man, he touched the lives of many with his “can do” spirit and loving nature. He was an avid lover of his Harley Davidson and muscle cars, and he enjoyed NASCAR Racing and good music. He loved to have a good time and lived his life to the fullest—creating wonderful memories with many along the way.
Charles was a skilled foreman for Indiana Roofers Local 119 for 37 years. He worked for the same company from the age of 18 until his retirement at 55. Charles was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, and friend. He wore many hats throughout his life, but the title he was most proud to wear was certainly “dad”.
Charles undoubtedly left this world too soon, but his legacy will live on in those who were lucky enough to know him and experience his kindness.
A gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 12PM-2PM at Flanner Buchanan—Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. A celebration of life will immediately follow the gathering beginning at 2PM. Charles will be laid to rest next to his late son, Charles R. Musselwhite, in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riley's Children Hospital.
