Charles "Chuck" Elwood Newbold

April 15, 1958-December 17, 2025

C huck was born in Denver Colorado on April 15, 1958, to Louise M. Oney and Harold L. Newbold. He was the youngest of 2 boys.

They lived in Denver until Chuck was a freshman in high school. Then his father was transferred to Kansas for work. Chuck completed high school in Kansas.

After high school, Chuck married his high school sweetheart Diana E MacLachlan and then he joined the AirForce where he spent four years. He was a mechanic in the Air Force. He spent two years in Alaska and two years in Texas. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he returned to Kansas for a short period and became a truck driver. Then he moved to Colorado and began driving over the road for fifteen years before changing to doing local runs including construction and gravel hauling.

Chuck loved outdoor activities such as bird hunting, fishing, boating, and riding his Harley. He loved to go up to Granby to fish. He even won a snowmobile one-time in an ice fishing contest. The outdoors called his name. He appreciated the beauty of the outdoors.

Chuck and Diana had two children, Charles Richard Newbold and Linda Marie Newbold.

After the loss of Diana, Chuck remarried Serena J Fenner in February 2011. They were married until Chucks death.

Chuck was proceeded in death by his parents-Harold L and Louise M Newbold,

his stepmother Janice Newbold, his son Charlie Newbold and first wife Diana Newbold.

Chuck is survived by his wife Serena, brother David (Annetta)Newbold, daughter Linda (Jesse) Cleveland, stepchildren Ashley (Ryan) Hamling, Kurtis (Ariel) Barnes and eight grandkids- Austin, Savannah, Apryl, Elizzabith, Rita, Damian, Tyler and Walker survive.

Per Chuck's request, there will be no service.
