Member of the American Legion
Charles S. Newcomer, 88, of Bloomfield, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. Born in Allentown, PA, Charles was the son of the late Samuel and Claire (Owens) Newcomer. He was a proud U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He retired as a truck driver for Old Dominion Freight in Jersey City. Charles is survived by his wife Joyce Ann (Marshall) Newcomer, his children Donna Testa (Anthony) and Charles M. Newcomer; his sisters Elizabeth Sisko and Barbara Wilson; and his grandson Lee. He was predeceased by his brothers Owen Newcomer, Ronald Newcomer, and David Newcomer, and his sisters Nancy Hamersly, JoAnn Kauffman, and Claire Pummer.
