Dave was a great leader and friend to many of us who started our careers at Ford in the 1980s. Sharing experiences through story telling was a powerful way that Dave taught, influenced and inspired. And yes, he was a very good pitcher on our softball team. Even when he took a line drive to the head one game, we were able to see the ball stiches imprinted in is forehead for weeks ! I am proudly grateful for the role that Dave played in building my professional and even personal foundation.

I only met Dave once but never forgot how happy he was to do the "heavy lifting" for Rose and me after the Young Women of Grace Advent Retreat at St. Joseph´s. His ready laugh was so infectious. What a blessing it was to know him!

Dave was a National Treasure at North Penn. While my time there was brief I have instilled in my mind many stories he told me or about something he read in Scientific American. Many stories ended with a laugh. He was also an asset in the softball team. Always humble, treated you as an equal and was willing to share and teach. The twinkle in his eye I remember the most.

Worked with Dave at Lansdale and North Penn site. A pleasure to work with, a very fine individual, and a "go to" person. He seemed to always know how to get things done. I too echo the "Excel Expert" for everything with numbers.
Our prayers go to the family. He will be missed.

I was one of the engineers at Philco Ford that interviewed Dave that lead to him being hired mid 1970s. He played violin with me on piano several times at various work social events. He was always fun to be with. We traveled together on business trips. Wonderful gentleman. RIP Dave.

Dave taught me everything about Excel. He was the foremost authority in all of Dorman. I sure will miss you good sir! You live on through your spreadsheets that are still employed in factories all over the country!

I worked with Dave for 5 years at Ford Lansdale/North Penn from 1990 to 1995 in electronic manufacturing operations and we definitely shared a few beers over the years. He was a great guy and an absolute joy to be around. I'm truly sorry to hear of his passing and we will have him and his family in our prayers.
