Maureen DeFuria Obituary
Maureen A. DeFuria, 95, of Belleville, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026. Born in Nutley, NJ, Maureen was the daughter of the late William and Mary (O'Connor) Buckley. She worked as an admissions clerk for Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. The beloved wife of the late Anthony DeFuria, Maureen is survived by her children Guy DeFuria, Mark DeFuria (MaryAnn), and Brian DeFuria (Lauren); her six grandchildren Melissa, Mark, Joey, Jesse, Gavin, and Justin; and four great-grandchildren Joey, Everly, Joey, and Peyton. She was predeceased by her son Gary DeFuria and her sisters Eileen and Joan.
Visitors will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 9:00AM – 10:30AM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM at Holy Family Church, Nutley.
The entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery and Mausoleum, Bloomfield.
