It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Scott Orr Jr., lovingly known as Scotty, who departed this life on September 11, 2025, at the age of 33. Scotty was born on November 22, 1991, in McKinney, Texas. From a young age, his vibrant personality and infectious smile brought joy to everyone around him. He had a magnetic presence, a true light in any room he entered. Scotty had a passion for life and a love for the simple joys it brought. He was an avid football fan, a talented cook, and a devoted wrestling and music enthusiast. His loyal companion, his beagle Brody, was always by his side, sharing in his adventures and quiet moments alike.
He is survived by his loving mother, Ronda Orr of Dallas, TX; his father, Charles Scott Orr Sr., and stepmother, Diane Orr of Southmayd, TX; his sister, Jessica Orr, and her partner Steven Walker of Frisco, TX; his brother, Joshua Schnitker, and Deianira Conte of Tulsa, OK; his sister and brother-in-law, Veronica and Raul Acevedo of Kaufman, TX; his brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Elizabeth Estrada of Quinlan, TX; his sister, Jessica Estrada of Terrell, TX; girlfriend, Kayla Morrow of Bells, TX; and his uncle and aunt, Alex and Donna Orr of McKinney, TX, aunt Yvonne White of Celina, TX, and uncle, Scott Dickerson of Josephine, TX.
Scotty was a proud uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews, Breale Walker and Cali Walker, Valerie, Janelly, Zayden, and Zander Acevedo, Carmen and Dominic Estrada. He is also survived by his grandfather, Ronald Dickerson of Cooper, TX.
He now joins in eternal rest those who preceded him in death: his grandparents Linda and Wayland Pence, Alex and Jackie Orr. Scotty will be remembered for his generous heart, his love of laughter, and the way his smile could light up even the darkest of days. His spirit, full of warmth and life, will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the memories we shared with Scotty and in knowing that his light will never fade.
