Charles Ott Obituary
Born on October 2, 1932, in Hundred, WV, Charles was the cherished son of the late Charles F. and Ethel Utha (Haught) Ott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Imogene Ott; his sister, Belva Parks; and his grandson, Nathan Ott.
Charles was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He dedicated more than 25 years of faithful service to Weirton Steel Corporation before retiring.
He will be deeply missed by his sons, Alan Ott (Mary Ann) of Richmond, VA, and Brian Ott (Lisa) of Newport News, VA; his daughters, Patty Oravetz (Richard) of McMurray, PA, and Debi Ott of South Park, PA; his stepdaughter, Arlinda Wright of Chester, WV; his brother, Clyde Ott of Renfrew, PA; and his sisters, Avis Morris of Laurel, MD, and Marlyn Barrett of Princess Anne, MD. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who brought him great joy.
Family and friends will celebrate Charles's life on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Private interment will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
