Charles A. Perry, 77, of West Salem, IL passed away on December 6, 2025 at his home in West Salem, IL.
Charles was born November 7, 1948, in Calvin, IL to L.D. and Constance P. (Franklin) Perry. He married
Marilyn Taylor on July 4, 1967 at the Mt. Erie Christian Church and they enjoyed many happy years together.
Charles loved fishing, coin collecting, Star Trek movies and memorabilia, doing yard work, and his favorite,
fried chicken. He really enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren and beloved great grandchildren. He was a
member of the First Christian Church of West Salem and the Masonic Lodge #0866 of West Salem, Illinois.
Charles is survived by his wife, Marilyn Perry; daughter Kippi (Adam) Wright; four grandchildren Ryan
(Chiharu) Satterfield, Heather (Chance) Gill, Ashleigh Shoulders, and Charles (Mary) Satterfield; and
great grandchildren Eiden (Josi), Levi, Jaxson, Rylan, Brynley, Lily and Liam; his brothers, Bob and Bennie;
and sisters Glenna, Georgia and Connie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Koby Perry; three sisters Donna Thomas, Kathy Pixley, and
Judy Perry; two brothers Larry Perry and Jimmy Perry; and two half sisters, Shirley and Linda.
Services for Charles A. Perry will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge in West Salem, IL.
Service at Scott Cemetery in Mt. Erie will follow.
