Charles Ponsier Obituary
He was born May 22, 1940, in La Porte, to Arthur and Sophie (Karlinger) Ponsier.
On June 17, 1961, he married Sheila (Troy) Ponsier who survives.
Chuck attended St. Peters Catholic Church. He was a lifetime member of Local 150 Engineers Union and was the business owner of Chuck's Septic and Drain for over 40 years
He was known to be a potato salad master, and loved watching his grandkids play sports. He also enjoyed fishing and tractor pulls, and even built his own tractor pull.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Deborah (William) Briggs, and Charles Ponsier; a sister, Arlene Dilloway; and three grandchildren, Brogan and Reilly Briggs, and Maddie Ponsier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Harold Nosse.
Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100.

Chuck was one wonderful happy guy! He always had a Smile on his Face! He was a great dad to Deb & young Chuck and a guy who would do just about anything Shelia would ask for or for him to do for Her! He was a guys Guy who you could always count on having fun together. Hopefully they will all be getting together Soon, I know Bill Hope will be looking for Him. Prayers & Love go out to the Family & Hope you all will continue to remember all the fun times you had w/Dad! May he rest in Enternal Peace
