My father worked with Mr. Poole at Southern Airways, I remember mom picking Mr. Poole up to take him home when dad worked late. Mom would tell me later that Mr. Poole was the bartender at the Baker Hotel Ballroom. He seemed a man that commanded respect and admiration. I had classes with Dussie in high school, a nice kid.
