Charles Preedy Obituary
Chuck moved with his parents to Fort Morgan in 1945, where they farmed east of town. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1960, and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy. His service from 1961 – 1965 included two Vietnam Tours. During his time in the Navy, he received a Presidential Unit Citation, and a Unit Commendation Metal. After being discharged, Chuck attended Cal State University in Los Angeles (1965 – 1969) and graduated with a bachelors degree. He worked as a financial consultant for 17 years and was a recipient of several awards for his hard work, including the Who's Who in Finance and Industry in 1981, and the Who's Who in the West in 1982. Chuck returned home to Fort Morgan in 1991.
