Charles Daniel "Danny" Reynolds

Ayden - Heaven gained another angel, Charles Daniel Reynolds, best known as Danny, was called home at the age of 57 on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 6, at 11am at the Reynolds Family Cemetery, Marie Cox Ln, Ayden, NC 28513. He will be carried to his final resting place by his dear friends Joe Anderson II, Joe Anderson III, Matthew Fillingame, Kasey Kite and nephews, Michael Reynolds and Tyler Watson. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7pm at Smith Funeral Service.
Danny was born on February 7, 1968, in Craven County. He was a man of many skills but spent most of his life building beautiful homes for many families. In his time off he loved hunting, fishing and spending time with loved ones. Danny was well known for his patience, kindness, and loyalty and willingness to help others. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Eleanor Carrier, William and Bertie Midgette, and his uncle, Brad Carrier.
He is survived by his wife, Kelli Lynn Golden; two kids, Shannon Cox, and Austin Hawkins and wife, Lexy Hawkins; soon to be granddaughter Eden Hope Hawkins; mother, Janie Hughes and stepfather, Elbert Hughes; father, James Reynolds and stepmother, Donna Reynolds; brother, Tommy Reynolds; uncles, Dennis Reynolds, Pete Reynolds, Howard Carrier, and Fred Hughes; and niece and nephew Katie Gaskins and Michael Reynolds.
