Mr. Talmadge "Dawson" Page, Jr., 66, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 3, 2025.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Winterville FWB Church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:00 AM.
Dawson was a New Year's Eve baby, born on January 1, 1959 in Rockingham, NC where he grew up. The family moved to Greenville in 1973. He graduated from D.H. Conley High School in 1977. Dawson enjoyed singing, especially church music and he loved to fish and hunt at Lake Mattamuskeet. He wore many hats, working for Toledo Scales, Pitt County Health Dept. (Center for Domestic Preparedness), Ayden Police Dept., Pitt County Sheriffs Dept., and as a 911 Dispatcher for Pitt County. Dawson also volunteered at the Winterville Fire Dept., holding the position of Chief at one time, the Ayden Rescue Squad and the Winterville Rescue where he served as Assistant Captain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge D. Page, Sr. and Geraldine Branch Page, and an infant sister, Denise Faye.
He is survived by: his wife of 39 years, Tina Herman Page; sons, Michael Page and wife, Felicia, and Joshua H. Page and wife, Melissa; daughter, Morgan Page Crisp and husband, Joyner; grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Sophia Grace and Adam Joseph; and his sister, Debra Page Reynolds and husband, John.
