Tony Curtis Mosley, 67, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
The funeral service will be held Sunday at the Greenville Church of God at 3:30 PM. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 2 PM until the funeral hour. Burial will be private in Pinewood Memorial Park
Tony was raised in the Black Jack community of Pitt County and attended D.H. Conley High School. He operated his own carpentry business for a number of years and was a partner with Quality Porch Rail and Fence. Later, he worked as a carpenter for Pitt County Schools until his retirement in 2016. Tony was a devoted member of the Greenville Church of God, where he served on the Pastor's Council for many years. He, along with his friend Charlie Asby, was instrumental in starting the Disaster Relief ministry, which built shower trailers and washer/dryer trailers to be used in disaster relief work. Serving his Lord was his greatest priority. Tony also enjoyed carpentry projects and taking trips to the mountains, and he delighted in spending time with his family.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Lucille Mosley; brother, Richard Earl Mosley; an infant sibling, Heber Lee Mosley; a devoted uncle, Claude Mills who raised Tony, his brother and a cousin; and a special aunt, Mattie Anderson who assisted in caring for Tony
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dell Hamm Mosley; daughter, Jennifer Williams Campbell and husband, Jason; granddaughter, Kenzie Campbell; siblings, Dalton Mosley and wife, Geraldine, Josina Mills, Brenda Suggs and husband, Buster, Ron Mosley and wife, Sue Ellen, and Steve White; sister-in-laws, Joanne Guy and husband, Earl, and Gail Hardee and husband, Ervin; brother-in-law, Larry Smith and wife, Becky; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Church of God, 3105 S Memorial Dr, Greenville, NC 27834.
