With profound love and cherished memories, the family of Charles Earl Richardson announces his peaceful passing on September 5, 2025.

Charles was the eldest son of the late Arnold Hall and is lovingly remembered by his devoted mother, Reverend Bettie Richardson McCrary, and stepfather, Deacon Willie McCrary of NJ. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, the late Ivory and Julia Richardson, who also played a significant role in shaping his life and values. He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Nancy McCrary of NJ and Pastor Marion Alston of NC; his brothers, William McCrary and Pastor Timothy (Linda) McCrary of NJ; along with his nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever treasure his memory and quiet strength. Charles valued the love of his family and friends, sharing a deep bond with his beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, and others who were dear to him. Known for his gentle spirit and love for family, Charles touched many lives. His presence brought comfort and stability to those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Progressive Funeral Home, Columbus, GA. Service will be live-streamed (see clickable link below)

The family celebrates his life with thanksgiving to God for the years they were blessed to share with him.

While Charles will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
