Born in Houtzdale, PA to Charles E. and Ann V. (Palochko) Robertson, he attended Moshannon Valley High School where he was a stand-out athlete in football, basketball and baseball, and played in the marching band. After graduating in 1964, he was drafted into the Army and served in Berlin, Germany. Once his service was complete, he studied to be a tool and die maker, the trade he practiced his entire career.
He enjoyed football, classic cars, movies, TV, and the corniest jokes imaginable. He will be missed.
He is survived by his children Greg (Jessica) Robertson, Jacob Robertson and Sarah (Nick McKay) Robertson, his sisters Eleanor Washic, Elaine Cook, Ann Niepmann, Virgina (Raymond) Miller and Rebecca Williams, his former wife Sharon (Dixon) Robertson, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on April 11, 2026 at 11:00am at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 222 Brisbin Street, Houtzdale. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.
