Charles C Scott III, age 62, of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2025, with his wife by his side. Charles was born on December 13, 1962, in Philadelphia, PA to Charles and Helen Scott.

Charles was a retired Navy Veteran; he served 20 years in the US Navy. He was a founding member of the Brotherhood of Kilted Veterans, a Plank owner, and the Webmaster making him a member of the executive committee for the BKV. He was also a member of the VFW Virgil Wilson Post 4961 where he served as Quartermaster and Webmaster. He was a previous member of SAMS (Scottish American Military Society) where he also was a Webmaster. He was also the Webmaster for Wreaths Across America. Charles enjoyed doing computer repairs and web design, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Charles was proceeded in death by his beloved daughter, Melissa Scott.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Melissa Scott, his parents, Charles and Helen Scott, his sister, Helen Healy (Tom), his brothers, John Scott, Danny Scott (Rebecca), and Bobby Scott, his daughter, Veronica McKain (Michael), stepdaughter, Patricia Baker, and five grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with a visitation from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, DE. Immediately following funeral services, interment will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.

Chuck we spent some time together the past few weeks we talked, laughed, cried, and watched TV. You kept telling me it will be ok. Even the last day I saw you you told me that. You will be missed and will still be loved in my heart. You are my brother and I love you.
