Charles John Seidenfaden,78, of Louisville KY, passed away August 15,2025. Born on June 29,1947, to the late Norbert and Anita Seidenfaden. Charlie attended St. Therese Catholic School and graduated from Trinity High School in 1965. He married the love of his life Linda Burkhead and spent 57 years of love together.

Charlie had many roles: a devoted husband, a loving father and papaw. He cherished his time with family and friends fishing at the lake and traveling after retiring from General Electric after 35 years. He served his country for 2 years in Vietnam.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Norbert and Anita, and his siblings Lynda King, Buzz and Kenny Siedenfaden. His life was a testament to the values of love, loyalty, family, and friends.

His legacy is carried on by his wife, Linda, his children, Greg Seidenfaden (Susan) and Anita Hess and his cherished grandchildren, Courtney Cook (Kaitlin) Luke Seidenfaden and Breanna and Ashley Hess. Charlie also leaves behind his siblings Brenda Richard, David Seidenfaden (Jeri), Mary Ann Gatz(Tom), Carol Sullivan (Scott).

Friends and Family are invited to gather for visitation at Highlands Funeral Home ,3331 Taylorsville road, Louisville, KY, on Monday August 18,2025 from 2:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday August 19,2025 at Highlands Funeral Home at 11:00am.

Donations in Charles memory can be made to the Veteran Affairs (VA) for all their support.
