Todd Wendell Aud, 51, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, August 27 following a battle with cancer. He was born in Owensboro to the late Joseph W. and Mary Ann Payne Aud and graduated from Trinity High School in Whitesville.
Todd earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Kentucky Wesleyan College and his Master’s of Science in Nursing from Murray State University. He worked as a nurse anesthetist for many years- most recently through Northstar Anesthesia at various locations in Kentucky and Indiana.
Todd was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and was married at St. William’s Catholic Church. He loved spending time with family and supporting his children’s sporting events. He was a planner, and in anticipation of family vacations, he’d sometimes plan trips up to a year in advance. Todd also enjoyed U.K. Basketball and a little golf.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Bonnie L. Aud; children, Brady, Logan, Molly and Ashton Aud; brothers, Shawn Aud (Debbie) and Ryan Aud (Andrea); nieces and nephews, Camden, Kenley and Carson Aud, Shawna Wilson, Shelby Lanham and Parker Aud; and Bonnie’s extended family.
The funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 1 at St. William Catholic Church, 9545 KY-144, Knottsville, KY. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 PM, with prayers at 4:00 PM, and Monday from 9:00 until 10:00 AM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery.
