Clover -- Charles Franklin "Buck" Sexton Sr., born April 6, 1949 in York, SC, passed away June 1, 2024. He was a carpenter and built many dreams for others through his craftsman ability. He truly left his mark in this world and touch many lives. He was a loving husband, father, and papa. He was a true friend to many and will be surely missed. Buck lived in the Bethany community and attended Enon Baptist Church in Smyrna, SC.
Mr. Sexton is survived by his wife, JoAnn Broom Sexton; his children, Kelly Danielsen (Peter), Charles Sexton Jr. (Karen), and Jamie Falls (Brad); his grandchildren, Jacob and Kaitlyn Danielsen, Hayley Sexton, Joshua Smith, Elizabeth Falls, Forest Falls, Ben Falls, and Alex Coble; and his great-grandson, Grayson Coble; and his siblings, Frances Blackwood (Charles), Lorraine Campbell (Charles), Rebecca Blackwood (Tom); and Delores Hamilton (Whitey).
Mr. Sexton was preceded in death by his parents William Henry Sexton and Helen Louise Blackwelder Sexton and his siblings, Leroy Sexton, Arthur Sexton, Jerry Sexton, James Sexton and Linda Sutphin.
A celebration of life will be held at Enon Baptist Church, 150 Enon Church Road, Smyrna, SC on June 15th, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
The family requests no flowers but any memorials be made to Enon Baptist Church, 150 Enon church Road, Smyrna, SC 29743.
