Charles Shehorn, 80, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, in Cleveland, TN. A man of strong character and deep love for his family, Charles was passionate about hunting and fishing. He proudly served his country, embodying the spirit of a patriot. His service and dedication to those he loved will never be forgotten.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Michelle Annette Smith and Christina Louise Moore; grandchildren, Ashley Jarrod Smith, Logan Glenn Smith, Zane Parker Smith, Syvannah Jones, Chantelle Bednin, Victoria Carrol, Alvia Moore, Brycen Shehorn, Bailey Shehorn, and Ella Shehorn; and several great-grandchildren who will carry on his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harlton Shehorn; mother, Alice Shehorn; grandson, Mason Shehorn; and son, Charles Arthur Shehorn Jr.
The family will gather to honor and remember Charles at a service on Wednesday, January 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Companion Funeral Home "Ridge Chapel" in Cleveland, TN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Charles will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Charles' honor to a charity of choice.
