He was born in Salem, on February 9, 1970, and was the beloved eldest son of Charles and Mickey (Quartarone) Slattery.
Chip was raised in Dracut and loved to play hockey in the Dracut Youth Hockey League. He graduated from Bishop Guertin High School and continued his education at Johnson and Wales University where he earned his college degree.
After more than thirty years of dedicated service, Chip recently retired from FW Webb. He looked forward to moving to Roatan, his favorite island, with his devoted wife, Kathryn, where they planned to bask in the sunshine and enjoy the next chapter of their lives together.
In addition to his loving wife, Chip is survived by his cherished sons, Chase and his fiancée Alexa Forberg, Conor and his long-time girlfriend Olivia Parker; his brother Jeffrey Slattery and his wife Kathy; and his nephew Stone. Chip will also be deeply missed by his many wonderful friends and extended family.
Per Chip's wishes all services will be held privately.
