Charles Edward Smith Sr age 67 of Malone, FL passed away Thursday August 21, 2025 at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, AL with his loving family at his side.
Charles E. Smith, Sr. was born June 02, 1958 in Donaldsonville, Georgia to the late Lee "Espy" Smith, Sr. and Mary "Maglean" Smith.
Charles's profession was a semi-truck driver and his hobbies were feeding Maxx (Meshia's family dog) peanut butter crackers every morning (Specifically, the Lance Toast Cheese brand), riding before the sun came up, watching wrestling faithfully every Wednesday night, Malone taxi driver, exercising, attending church and playing the lottery daily.
He was preceded in death by his father: Lee "Espy" Smith and sister: Kathy Smith.
He's survived by his loving ex-wife: Gloria Smith (Beloved Friend); children: Charles E. Smith Jr. (Takiyah), Tushenia Smith, and Dalmeshia Smith; mother: Mary "Maglean" Smith; grandchildren: Chariyah Smith, Charles Smith III, Charleston Smith, Brandon Garrett, Breanna Edwards, Brittani Edwards, Brylee Williams, Aubree Hamilton, and Saylor Saffold; siblings: Barbara Smith, Lee Smith, Jr. (Sherry), Sheila Smith, Lisa Smith (Arthur), Karla Smith, Tony Smith (Towanna), and Jacquett Smith; sorrowing relatives: Barbara Miley (Dear Friend), Mankee Miley (Dear Friend), Robert Sims (Dear Friend), Larry Hardy (Dear Friend) and a host of other friends.
