He was born on December 31, 1941, son of the late Gordon L. and Marjorie (Waite) Story.
Charles was a graduate of Boston University, earning a bachelors degree in business. He was employed in the insurance industry.
He enjoyed spending time with family, golfing, tennis, gardening, cooking, wine collecting and spending time in Florida and on Cape Cod.
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons, Christopher Story, wife, Nicole, Jonathan Story; brother, Douglas Story, partner, Sarah Preston; sister Marjorie Brown, husband, Robert; his amazing granddaughters, Taylor, Morgan, and Sophia Story who were the lights of his life; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are private. Donations to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in his memory would be appreciated.
