Charles "Squeaky" Strong passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at St. John Neuman Nursing Home, Philadelphia. He was 83 years old. Born in Bristol, son of the late Charles and Dorothy (nee Peirson) Strong, he was a lifelong Bristol and Tullytown area resident. Prior to his retirement, Squeaky owned his own landscaping business and was the former owner of the New Anchor Tavern in Tullytown. He enjoyed working in his yard, reminiscing about old times with his friends, and loved his cats.
He is survived by his wife, Betti Ann Strong; his children, Joseph Strong (Danielle) and Gina Strong (Mike); his grandchildren, Kourtnie Strong-Ward (Connor), Joseph Strong, Korra Gable, and Daniel Gable; and his great-grandson, Krew Mason Ward. He is also survived by two sisters, Betty Anne Wheeler (Paul) and Florence Martino (Robert), along with many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Beers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 11am at Tullytown Cemetery, Main Street, Tullytown.
