Charles Styron, 90, went to his eternal home on Friday, January 30, 2026. Charles was surrounded by family as he went peacefully.

Charles was a man of many interests that revolved around the family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, leatherwork, photography and serving the community. Some of his most enjoyable moments were working with the crews at Habitat for Humanity. He worked for 37 years at Lockheed Martin, formerly General Dynamics. He enjoyed making a contribution to our national security in his work.

Charles is survived by his wife of 69 years, LaRue, brother Bobby, son Cory (Madeline), daughter Shelly (Russell), four grandchildren, Blaine, Trey (Zoie), Kelsey (Derek), Megan and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Habitat for Humanity or your favorite charity.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 pm at The Wiley Center Chapel, Granbury, Texas.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 beginning at 2:00 PM, The Wiley Center Chapel, Granbury, Texas.

Burial will follow at Fall Creek Cemetery.

Services under the care of Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.

My sincerest condolences to LaRue and all of the family. After having worked with LaRue at the law office several years, I am thankful we stayed in touch over the years. May God grant you strength and peace during this difficult time.
