With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Edward Sullivan, fondly known as Charlie, who left us on May 31, 2025, at the age of 72. From the moment he graced this world on December 16, 1952, in Cincinnati, Charlie was a beacon of love, strength, and courage for all who knew him.
As a devoted husband to the late Sandra Jean Sullivan and a proud father to his four children - Jason, Jordan, Stacy, and Trevor - Charlie poured his heart into everything he did. His years as a painter for Tradeline were a testament for his dedication to hard work and craftsmanship.
Charlie was a passionate family man, finding joy in the simple pleasures of camping trips, fishing adventures, and long Saturdays cheering for his beloved Notre Dame Fighting Irish. His laughter echoed through the years at every sporting event, where he proudly supported not just his children but also his cherished grandchildren, instilling a legacy of love and encouragement that will echo on.
Charlie was always there for his family as a solid support structure in the ups and downs in life. His presence will be dearly missed as he is reunited his beloved wife, Sandra, his daughter, Stacy Mondal and infant grandson Jaxson Sullivan.
His legacy of love and strength will live on with his sons: Jason (Holly), Jordan, and Trevor (Kim) Sullivan, and his cherished grandchildren – Kyndall, Jaggar, Baylee, Cash, Rory, Kameryn, and Cooper Sullivan, Maleighna, Gabe, Sabastian, Elliott & Prestin Mondal. Charlie's spirit lives on in each of them, a testament to a life well-lived.
A private goodbye was held for immediate family, celebrating the remarkable life of a man who taught us all how to love fiercely and hold on tight to one another. In the coming days, friends and family are encouraged to share a memory of Charlie, sharing stories that will weave the tapestry of his legacy even tighter.
In the spirit of Charlie, let us hold our loved ones close, enjoy the great outdoors, and cheer for our favorite teams, for that is how he would want us to remember him. Rest in peace, Charlie; your love will continue to guide us.
