Marine Corp Veteran SSGT Charles Surrency, 81, reported to our Heavenly Father for his final duty station on January 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas Bradley Surrency, parents V.H. and Ina Surrency and his in-laws Jean and Tom Bishop.
Chuck served for 8 1/2 years with multiple tours in Vietnam. After leaving the Marine Corp, he then worked as a letter carrier and retired from the United States Postal Service.
Chuck is survived by his wife: Missie Bishop Surrency, son: Wayne (Gwen) Surrency, and four grandchildren: Chrissy, Bradley, Sara and Sammy.
Memorial service we be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 26, 2025 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Charles Surrency honor to "Tunnel2Towers.org "
