Charles Wayne Theriot

Charles Wayne Theriot, 82, of Buna, died Sunday, February 15, 2026. He was born on February 12, 1944, in Port Arthur, to Rose May Viator Theriot and Joseph Clyde Theriot.

Survivors include his loving wife, Debra Theriot, of Buna; children, Monica Tremont of Silsbee; and Brandi Young and her husband, Cary, of Lumberton; stepson, Allen Sonnier and his wife, Mandy, of Buna; stepdaughter, Misty Palumbo and her husband, Paul, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Charles Tremont of Silsbee; Brandon Young and his wife, Jordan, Bailey Young and Chloe Young, all of Lumberton; sister, Mary Ann Wheatley; beloved cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Carol Gwyn Theriot; and brothers, Gene Theriot, Kenneth Theriot, and Tommy Theriot.

A gathering of Mr. Theriot's family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His interment will follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, 21650 FM 92, Fred.
