Charles Thomas Obituary
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to the service time at the cemetery.
He was born on August 15, 1940, in Sulphur Springs to W.B. and Tiny Mae (Hounsel) Thomas. He passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in Granbury, Texas. Mr. Thomas graduated from Gaston High School in 1958. He served his country in the United States Army during The Vietnam War. Mr. Thomas was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bedford, Texas.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, W.B. and Tiny Mae Thomas; four brothers, Billy Thomas, Marshall Thomas, Jerry Thomas, Clifford Thomas; and two sisters, Bonnie Vinyard, and Joyce Thomas.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Wanda Allen Thomas of Granbury; son, Shawn Thomas and wife Caitlin Thomas of Granbury; grandpuppy, Lzzy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Graham, Malcom Graham, Tony Allen, Troy Hester, Kyle Kuskie and Christopher Dorsey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704. Hagerstown, MD 21741.
