Charles W. "Charley" Truman, Jr., 78, of Owego, NY, unexpectedly died, Monday, August 11, 2025. Charley was predeceased by his wife, Alice Truman; son, Aaron Truman; parents, Charles and Jean (Taylor) Truman. He is survived by his three daughters and sons-in-law, Erica and Gunar Gossard, Eleanor and Peter Schmidt, Meagan and Jake Waller; stepdaughter, Rachel Crawford and Brad Kniss; seven grandchildren; sister, Marcia Truman; first wife, Coreen Truman. Charlie had started a dream project for a horse barn building at the fairgrounds. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to: Tioga County Fair Board c/o Eric Johnson, P.O. Box 57, Owego, NY 13827. Check donations can be made out to the "Tioga County Fair Board".
