Charles Vickerson Obituary
He was born September 29, 1937, in Nelliston, the son of Bruce and Marion (Swartz) Vickerson. He was employed as service manager at Hawkins Auto Sales in Nelliston for 35 years until his retirement, when he began working in carpentry with his son, Michael. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Skip is survived by two children, Paula Wicksell (Don) and Michael Vickerson (Jayne); four grandchildren, Dustin Wicksell, Nicole Higgins (Jim), Amanda Lowe (Ryan) and Jessie Vickerson (Alyssa); seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Dannible; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Celia M. (Domion) Vickerson; a brother, Bruce Vickerson and a sister, Betty Jones.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave; Gloversville, NY 12078.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, Gloversville.
