Charles J. Weiker

Charles J. Weiker, 76, of Fostoria, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the Good Shepard Home, Fostoria. He was born on August 20, 1949 in Fremont, Ohio, the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Hunter) Weiker.
Survivors include his brothers, Timothy (Sandra) Weiker, of Fremont, and Nathan (Linda) Weiker, of Columbus as well as many nieces and nephews.
Charles was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Findlay where he loved serving the Lord and it showed in his daily character. He enjoyed music, dancing, and singing. He also enjoyed creating poetry and writing. In his senior year he began a lifelong interest in genealogy where he was known as the family historian. He put it to work for others at the Hancock County Public Library for 12 years. He also worked at the Whirlpool factory in Clyde as a computer operator and in various other states. Charles was also known for his work at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museum in Fremont and was interviewed by WGTE in Bowling Green about his work.
His family would like to thank the many professional caregivers that touched his life over the years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 11 to 1pm at the Trinity Baptist Church, Findlay. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm at the church with Pastor Ben Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Baptist Church Memorial Gardens.
