Joyce Weiker Obituary
Joyce's life was marked by her unwavering positivity and infectious smile. She took great pride in her work at Tony Packos and LOF before dedicating herself fully to her role as a homemaker. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she cherished her family above all else, nurturing their spirits with her love and laughter.
Joyce married Larry Jr. Wilkes in June 1964 and later found love again with Ron Walter Weiker, whom she married in June 1971. She was a passionate gardener, enjoyed listening to music and dancing, and held a special place in her heart for her church community.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald W. Weiker, her son Johnny Lee Wilkes, and her brothers Jim and Don Pettit. She is survived by her son Scott A. Wilkes (Kay L.), her daughter-in-law Jennifer Wilkes, her grandson John Morgan Wilkes (Kristina), her grandson Kerry Hoot and granddaughter Elizabeth (Hunter) Sauerwein, and her great-grandchildren Kayden, James, Zachary, Rynn, and Iris.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, from 4 to 7 PM at Witzler Shank Walker Funeral Home in Walbridge, Ohio. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, September 30, at 11 AM, burial will be private at Restlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to DAV.org in Joyce's honor.
