Charles Widlitz Obituary
1938~2025
Charles Widlitz, 87, of Trumbull, CT, peacefully passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Charles, the beloved son of the late Nathan and Frances Widlitz, was born in Bridgeport, CT, in 1938.
A lifelong Connecticut resident, Charles attended local Bridgeport public schools and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1960. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Army veteran. Charles was passionate about antique clocks and was a skilled woodworker who took great pride in his craftsmanship. He treasured his time in Vermont, where he enjoyed creating lasting memories with his friends, family, and his beloved dog, Molly.
Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Susan Widlitz (Siegel); his loving sons, Todd Widlitz (Allison) and Eric Widlitz (Sarah); his adored granddaughters, Alexa, Jillian, Sydney, and Addison; his cherished sister, Selma Gold (Jerome); and several nieces and nephews who held him dear.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services in honor of Charles will take place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Rodeph Sholom Memorial Park Cemetery, 183 Kings Highway East, Fairfield, CT. The funeral service will be available via live stream on Charles' tribute page at www.greensfuneralhome.com.

It´s been along time.I met Charlie through his cousin Gary.Remembering Charlie liked older Corvette´s then.From time to time he would stop at my auto dealer.Charlie was also the Proprietor of Master Cleaners Bpt.
