A Celebration of Life Service for Charles Woodrow Williams, 66, will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Officiating the service will be Father Andrew Christiansen.
Charles was born January 3, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Johnnie V. Williams and Janis Boddie Williams and passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in Shreveport.
Charles was a resident of Shreveport. He was a lover of sports and local athletes. His favorite teams were always teams that had athletes from his hometown like Terry Bradshaw, Robert Parish, and David Toms. He loved to cook and watch old western movies and old television shows. Most importantly, he loved his children and sharing these passions with them. He loved to play sports, talk history of players and teams and pass on his love with his family and friends.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Grant Williams and his fiancé, Nicole Capito, and daughter, Rachael Williams Christiansen and her husband, Father Drew Christensen; and their mother, Hanh Williams; brother, Vernon Williams and his wife, Lisa Williams; and sister, Vicki Wallace.
Charles will be terribly missed by his family and friends, but we will forever love and cherish his memory.
