Charles Wesley Williams, 66, 0f Chewey, Oklahoma passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Charlie was born on March 5, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the son of Eugene G Williams and Peggy Burkhart Williams. He married Alice Charlene Davis on November 8, 1990. Charlie worked for many years as a woodworker and for the last 10 years he ran maintenance at the Highland Park Shopping Center in Siloam Springs. He loved the outdoors, including going to the river with the boys and nature was very important to him. He enjoyed guns and reloading, cars and was an avid coin collector. Charlie was a member of the Illinois Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Marion Williams and one sister, Lesta Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Williams of the home; one son, Gordon Williams and his other half Caitlin Prigmore of Chewey; two daughters, Olivia Williams and husband Zack Johnson of Chewey and Alexis Kimbrell of Rogers; two brothers, Jesse Williams of Chewey, and Tim Mendenhall of Prairie Grove; one sister, Brenda Williams of Fayetteville; two grandsons, Wesley James Williams and Josiah O’Dean Williams; one granddaughter, Charlie Rain Johnson; three step grandchildren, Stormy, Eli and Natalie Kimbrell; along with a host of other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Illinois River Baptist Church on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 3:00pm
