Lola Tibbits Obituary
She was born on May 17, 1944, in Chewey, Oklahoma, to the late Buck West and Gladys McKinney West.
Lola spent most of her working life serving as an administrative assistant in the medical field at Stillwell Hospital and Westville Nursing Home. She was known for her dedication, steady presence, and strong work ethic throughout her career.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Jim Tibbits; and her brothers, Hubert West, Noble Lee West, and Dub West.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana Burke and husband Ernie Allen; her sisters, Linda Loheimer of Peoria, Illinois, and Ina Jackson of Irving, Texas; her grandchildren, Brandi Barker and Brenton Burke (wife Bailey) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her great-grandchildren, Bryce Lowe; Max and Jack Pearl; and Maggie and Pansy Scraper of Westville, Oklahoma; along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends who will cherish her memory.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, friends plant a tree in her honor as a living tribute to her memory.
